Acadian Feast With Lobster:A PEI Fall Flavour Signature event will be hosted by Food Network Celebrity Chef Anna Olson. A great meal with traditional Acadian food and fresh lobster in the shell will be served in traditional Acadian style and in a festive atmosphere. Acadian Groupe Gadelle (Louise Arsenault, Hélène Bergeron, Caroline Bernard et Rémi Arsenault) will be on stage for your enjoyment and to entice you to dance, sing and laugh!
PEI Rubber Boot Throwing Championship: The competition will be held Friday, Saturday and Sunday of the Festival with the Championship round being played on Sunday afternoon. This competition is opened to everyone with several age categories for both women and men. This will certainly prove to be an exciting experience for participants and spectators alike as the competitors try their best to control the boot to attain the longest throw.
Pole Climbing Show: Yes Gerry Arsenault, the Branch Manager will again defeat all odds as he stands and performs on top of the more than 100 ft high pole. There is bound to be surprises and many AHs from the crowd!
RÉVEIL: Saturday night's Evangeline and Gabriel Dance will again feature the all popular Acadian band RÉVEIL who will perform from 10:00 p.m. to 1:00 a.m. Doors of the arena open at 9:00 p.m.
MUSTANG SHOW: A spectacular event of a horse that knows how to do comedy. This show is choreographed by the trainer Claude Chaussé
D'jâble dans l'Corps on Friday night will feature Paul D. Gallant followed by the country group "The Saul Good Band" featuring members of the popular group EDGE(Jason Arsenault, Maurice Hashie, Andy Gallant and Chris O'Hearn) in a country music performance. Come down for a real good hometown fun!
STRONG WOMEN COMPETITION: this popular activity returns Saturday September 3rd at 11 am and will feature some of PEI's strongest women demonstrating their strengths.
ART RICHARD CONCERT: Bring your kids to dance and sing with Art Richard Friday September 2nd at 3:30 pm.
KIDS DAY: Friday September 2nd and Saturday September 3rd it's kids days at the Festival Acadien, Kids under the age of 18 will have free admissions.
